Niners receive:
This year's 2nd round
Pats receive:
Next year 2nd/3rd round.
Panthers receive:
Jeremy Maclin, WR, 87ovr, 28 y/o, 6.4 million cap hit
3rd round pick
Niners receive:
Greg Hardy, DE, 90ovr, 28 y/o, 10 million cap hit.
Rationale: Both teams are fine cap wise and can bear the relatively high cap hits. Niners need a DE replacement for an aging Ray McDonald, and an improvement over a weak left side. Niners have a surplus of young wide receivers and can afford to trade a veteran talent. Panthers desperately need a WR, as they continue to struggle on offense. The third round pick was added to balance the trade as evenly as possible.
Patriots Receive:
Barkevious Mingo, ROLB, 79 ovr, 6 million cap pen
Jabaal Sheard, ROLB, 82 ovr, 5.5 million cap pen
Browns Receive:
Jamie Collins, LOLB, 83 ovr, 0.81 cap pen
4th round pick
Browns wants a great zone coverage OLB for their scheme and Collins gives it to them. Patriots want a speed OLB and to add to depth at LB position.
49ers give:
Michael Crabtree, WR, 83 ovr, 28 y/o
Raiders give:
3rd round pick
5th round pick (both picks for this upcoming draft)
Rationale: Trade makes sense for both teams. Niners already have a Crabtree replacement in Durrell Slaughter, and the Raiders need a solid possession guy. Boom!
Jets Receive: Ryan Kerrigan, 26 y/o, 1.20 million, 90ovr, OLB
Skins receive: Percy Harvin, 26 y/o, 10 million, 86ovr, WR
The jets want to offload Percy as he does not fit the scheme I am implementing, and have plenty of cap to eat the hit for the time being. Kerrigan fills a dire need at OLB. The skins want another quick slot type receiver and are willing to part with Kerrigan, who is in the last year of his contract and due for a big pay day.
