Afternoon Gents,

Just wanted to make an official note as we head into a different direction with the MSFL. As you all know we hit a crucial brick wall midway through our first season. Understandably, foreseeing a dying league, a lot of people bailed and left. Respect it happens, but it doesn't mean the league has to die. So today, I'll take over the reigns as intern commish and get us on a path to where you won't need a commish but rather a organizer and someone to advance. To start us off I will lay out some simple ground rules we'll inherit.

Inactivity..

Truthfully, I'm not a huge fan of GroupMe as a way to gauge a users activity. It is a resources not a requirement to schedule ur games. If it's easier to text, so be it just get games done. If u hang out in GroupMe and have a great time so be it, if not oh well. Long as ur active within league we'll be fine. I will require at a minimum that u post ur scheduled game times in the GroupMe chat as so we can be aware that the games are scheduled. We will not hold off advances! If ur not getting feedback within 24 hrs about adv or have not reached out urself within 24 hours consider it a sim I will not auto someone if both sides failed to properly show initiative. Now there will be case exceptions, but by in large that is the rule.

Autos

I will also respect a man that puts his priorities first, madden shouldn't b a top 3. An owner in this league helped me with that and I will use it going forward. However if ur auto'd a 3rd of the season or consecutively maybe a league isn't for u at this time. If it gets to that point you will be removed from the league.

Integrity

This encomposes everything we stand for as a "sim" league. Gameplay, trades, etc. everything will have a sense of realism. If u disagree, lobby ball is available 24/7 under the play online H2H option. We will approach every aspect of madden with that understanding, we all come from some form of football background, whether player, coach, or fan. So ignorance to realism will not be tolerated. Rule of thumb, "if u have to ask permission, it's probably illegal"

Professionalism

Lastly we address the culture of our league. We're all adults and we love to have fun with game and madden, but hell somebody gotta lose. So let's keep it clean when debating a game and keep it out of GroupMe court. That's a private conservation to be had between users not all the league to watch and troll. Way to clean that up is to broadcast and if can't then record. Next couple of weeks I'll develop some type of complaint system to make it easier to identify cheesers. You will be removed!

All in all its a lot I know but as we go forward thought it was necessary. Looking forward to a great league gents.
