We fall down but we get up!

After the last two seasons the Baltimore Ravens and Coach Goins have been considered a below average organization with little to no identity besides inflated QB tackles,Interception graveyard, and base formation mockery. That all ends this season, I REFUSE TO LOSE.

With a new outlook on how the game should be played Coach Goins seems to be back and his bag and ready to bring this team back to the post season like he did season one.Ive lost my way I developed bad habits, started to play the game like i seen others instead of developing my own way.No longer will we dwell in the past but we will now look toward the future.Being the third best in your division is not the where this team should have ever been.Yeah ill finally say it the Justyn and the Cincinnati Bengals are the better team.Kills me to say that but I have real in my DNA plus this last season sweep proves it.I don't respect him nor do i think he deserves all the recognition he seems to get but he wins the games he needs too and has surpassed me.

But these last three season haven't been all bad.. yeah I finished 5-11 twice and 6-10 this following season, Lost alot of leaders like Eric Weddle , Sam Koch and Tsizzle himself still there one glimmer of hope.

The Star that shines the brightest and will carry us to the promise land is Tyus Bowser.Even with the lack luster finishes he still managed to break sack records and make the probowl ever season.

All in all i wont give up on this team and wont stop fighting.Im sure ill have more bumps in the road but thats madden and ill keep riding for my dawgs. Shoutout to Old man Jack for these free two W's

Week 8 Embarrassment

Ravens walked into M&T Bank thursday night with theres sights set on finshing the game with a 6-2 recored......but it sure as hell didnt end that way.Baltimore started the game out clicking on offense Flacco was nearly pefrect in the half and cashed into the inzone with a TD pass to Maclin in the first half to go up 13-0.Defense held there ground but couldnt make the plays needed to win the game ultimatly.Forced four fumbles but couldn't recover one.Even with CJ Mosley and K Correa each picking off Jay Cutler it wasnt enough to take control of the game. The ravens offensvie line falied to protect Joe allowing Cameron Wake and the dolphins defensive to rack in seven QB tackles , one leadin to a fumble six.Another costly misake in the fourth quarter was the fumble by Micheal Campanaro that sealed the deal and awarded MIA there first win of the 2017 season. The Ravens look to turn the trending losses in to wins when the match the Titans in week 9

Key Players

-  QB Joe Flacco 376 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT

- HB Terrence West 17 ATT, 99 YDS

- OLB Tyus Bowser 2 SCK, 1 FF

Preseason Week 3: Defense!

Baltimore Ravens record there first preseason victory at home against the Buffalo Bills.Last weeks performance left the players coaches and fans all wondering if this years squad had what it took to be competitive in the highly talented AFC North.

This game featured alot of reps from the ones and it was a ton of positives to take from it.Joe Flacco struggled early on but ultimately found his stride and delivered a very impressive drive in the third that led to a touchdown to Mike Wallace. The vet racked in 5 rec for 127 yards which makes him the clear favorite in the running for the led receiver on the depth chat.

Defense showed up to play this game which was a huge relief. Both starting corners Jimmy Smith and Marlon Humphery racked in interceptions this game. The pass rush was also lethal, the team recorded 5 total QB tackles when the starts were on the field.

But the most impressive showing was back up QB Ryan Mallet finishing the game with a QBR of 155.7.His efforts set up Mr. Automatic himself Justin Tucker to kick the game winning field goal in the OT.

One week of preseason left. One more week to get better.

Key Player Stats

QB Ryan Mallet 8/9 124yards 1TD

TE Maxx Willaims 6rec 43yards

Preseason Week 2: Ravens Former Draft Pick Shows Out

After a lack luster start to the pre season week one against the Washington Redskins, Coach Goins had high hopes heading into Miami for the ravens week two match up.The Miami Dolphins offense seemed to be in a identity crisis after falling to the Atlanta Falcons 26-21 the week before, going into this game rookie OLB Tim Williams was quoted saying "I'm hungry for my first QB tackle".He did just that recording two sacks in the third quarter.Unfortunately that was one of the only few highlights for this young Baltimore defense. On the offensive side of the ball Joe Flacco looked to be in regular season mode recoding a touchdown to Breshad Perriman in the first quarter,But the true story to take from this game was the staring QB on the opposing team Keenan Reynolds. The former six round ravens draft pick made the ravens defensive look foolish. The Navy alumni finished the game with 12 rushing attempts for 102 yards with a rushing touchdown.Coach Goins was quoted saying "This can't happen if we want to be considered a top five defense in the league".Reynolds went on to force OT where he threw the game winning touchdown to rookie wideout Victor Bolden. The ravens sit at 0-2 for the preseason not a start that fans expected. They plan to bounce back next week against the Buffalo Bills at home.

Key Players Stats

SFL M18 Baltimore Ravens 2017 Outlook

Coach Goins has been quoted saying "This season will be a good one, playoff appearance guaranteed"

Coming off a 8-8 season the Ravens have improved there roster to become a true contender in the AFC and a clear AFC North front runner. The secondary has been adressed with the addtions of CB Brandon Carr and hard hitting SS Tony Jefferson.Currently stand out rookie corner Marlon Humphrey has been turning heads at this weeks trainning camp, he'll be competing for the starting job beside Smith.Coach Goins has been quoted saying "This is the best our secondary has looked in a few years, expect turnovers and big hits."

But the true nucleus of this years team will be the front five.Games will be won or loss in the trenches.Leader and widely considered to be the best offensive lineman in football Marshal Yanda has taken it upon himself to ensure that Joe Flacco is proctected at all cost.Baltimore plans on getting back to that smash mouth run heavy/ play action offense that catapult the team to the superbowl in 2012.

All in all its gonna be exciting to see where the team ends up, theres still alot of questions that need answers but confidence is radiating all over the ravens practice facility.
