M21 Season recaps

Raiders recap:
The Raiders finished season 1 with a loss in the AFC championship game to the eventual Superbowl winners.  This team was built as a win now team with several veteran players at key positions.  The concern going forward for the Raiders will be how well GM Illwizzil can find and develop young players that can move into bigger roles and not take a big loss of production. One such player was rookie hb JK Dobbins.  He had a very solid season and won AFC ROTY. The team will continue to have a balanced attack on offense going forward, with DHop and Cooks leading the WR core. Von Miller, Richard Sherman, and multiple oline starters may all have very little left in the tank for next season, and there will surely be a few retirements, so its gonna be a tough challenge to get the same dominant results of this year. Hopefully the Raiders can continue having successful seasons year after year for their new fans in Las Vegas and finish the job next time they are in a position to do so.

Vikings Recap

Vikings had a strong finish to the regular season after starting 0-2 with losses to division rivals the packers and bears. We ended up finishing the season tied for the division lead and home field advantage in the wildcard rd vs division rival green bay. That game was terrible for Minnesota, after 4 ints by Mitch Trubisky and a stalled run game The Packers won in a blowout.  Despite the disappointing ending. there were some bright spots along the way. WR John Ross set a new single season record for receiving with over 2000yds and 20+ TD grabs! He won the award for NFLs best WR. On defense, Rookie standout Brian Burns also had a magnificent season.  He broke the single season sack record and won DROY! It was a race to the QB every possession between Burns and Probowl Edge Rusher DeMarcus Lawrence who also had over 25 sacks.  This team is young and hungry and should take another step forward next season

Season 4 Recaps

Bears recap:
This was an interesting year for the Bears. Lots of ups and downs. The defense played very well with the additions of Devin White and Veteran Dlineman Cam Jordan. White paired with Deion Jones has formed one of the best lb duos in the lg, and vet pass rushers Von Miller and Cam Jordan combined for almost 40 sacks! The team acquired young star CB Thurman Mayes towards the end of the year, and he brought a star presence to secondary. The team played it best ball the 2nd half of the season and made the playoffs. Unfortunately,  the Packers were able to make some keys plays to seal the victory 20-17. On offense reek and Trubisky both earn a development bump to SS and will come into the new yr with abilities.  Mitch has no excuse to not dominate this year with 3 SS wrs and SS HB Ronald Jones all at his disposal. The team is getting very old and it feels like the next season will be the one to get GM Illwizzil a superbowl run

Season 3 Recaps

Bears recap:

The Bears had a great regular season going 13-3 and won the NFC North after not making the playoffs last season. Bears GM ILLWIZZIL did a great job making trades and put together arguably the most explosive offense in the league after bringing in WR Tyreek Hill. The 3 headed monster of Hill, Ross, and Breida was shredding teams...then as usual he fucked it all up by moving Breida. The Bears really did need to upgrade the CB group, so adding rookie stud CB Thurman Mayes in the package for xfactor hb Christian McCaffrey made sense on paper. Ultimately many fans and analysts believe that move cost them a real shot at the Superbowl. The Seahawks completely shut down CMC in the divisional round and kept the Bears kicking fgs in the redzone which led to their early exit.  So here we are again, after a better season, but still we it feels like the team underperformed. Its gonna very tough to repeat the success of last season with a tougher Lions opponent added to the mix of an already difficult group of division opponents.  Let's see if the offense can continue to gel and keep the team as a force in the division
