MXC secures 10 years of contracts while filling 2 positions with avg development players w/the 2nd as seed money for future team stability financially, while losing an elite player.

MXC has not been responsible with their AMX card and can not afford the luxury of Donald's potential exit with nothing in return.  To help balance the ledger and acquire financial stability for the next four years we feel we have made a decisive stratagem that one day will be etched in Diablos history.

when a team is struggling financially this is exactly the type deal that looks good OVR wise but hurts a team right their course...  never trade away locked up talent (est star or young stud) w/nonexistent resources (so late in the season, smh)  .. don't treat mismanaged teams as farm clubs, only hurts the league as a whole!  this particular deal cost this team the eqiv of a top 5 1st round pick..  checks & balances people, checks & balances
