I'm an Admin for this league and it's a very well run league with active sim owners. The commish camdenking is on top of things so the league runs smoothly. Everyone who doesn't have their favorite team can join here if they're open or take what is open and if your team opens up you can ask to switch with the approval of commish.

Ports are basically 'endpoints' between two connections. A 'Port number' is assigned to each end, like an address, in order to direct the flow of Internet traffic.
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with any of our online games, and you have exhausted all basic connection troubleshooting, such as clearing cache, adjusting privacy settings, or disabling firewalls, you may need to add a port to your network connection.
Each game or application uses different ports, so you will have to check for the correct ports to open.
To open TCP or UDP ports, follow the instructions below:
Windows XP
Click on the 'Start' button on your Windows Taskbar.
Click on 'My Network Places.'
Under the 'Network Tasks' section, click on 'View Network Connections.'
You should now see a list of the network connections available to your PC. The network connection which you are currently using should say 'Connected.' Any other connections should read 'Disabled.'
Right-click on your current network connection and select 'Properties' from the menu list.
Click on the 'Advanced' tab.
Click on the 'Settings' button.
Click on the 'Exceptions' tab.
Click on the 'Add Port' button.
You should now see a pop-up window appear.
Name your port and give it a descriptive name so that you know what port it is later.
Enter the port number under the 'Port Number' text field.
Select either 'TCP' or 'UDP' (these should be specified in the list of ports you acquire from your game).
Click 'OK.'
Windows 7
Click on the 'Start' button on your Windows Taskbar.
Click on 'Control Panel'
In the search box type 'firewall'
Click on the 'Windows Firewall' option that appears
In the left pane click 'Advanced Settings'
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password for confirmation. If not, please skip to the next step.
In the left pane of the 'Windows Firewall with Advanced Security' dialog box click 'Inbound Rules'
In the right pane, click 'New Rule'
This will cause a New Inbound Rule Wizard to run where you will be able to enter the relevant port number and to select either 'TCP' or 'UDP'
You have now added a port to your network connection. If you connect later with a different network connection, you might have to re-add any ports you entered. You might also need to repeat these steps if you need to enter multiple ports.
Ports you need to open :
UDP( one kind of port, must be labeled as such, each one is start and end port): 3478; 3479; 3658; 10070
TCP( one kind of port, must be labeled as such, each one is the start and end point): 80; 443; 465; 983; 5223; 10070-10080
Embeding your channel on your team page
Ok so now you have your embed code(s) . You can put both ustream and twitch up, if u think you will use them , or just use one. either way you can embed your "channel" on your team page, So now you have copied your embed code, im going to walk you thru how to put it on your teams page.you may look at my teams page (seattle) to see how it should look when your done. Just follow along :
FOR TWITCH CHANNELS:
1. here on our daddyleagues site, click the "front office " tab
2. click the "post blog" tab there
3.then give your post a title
4.then scroll down to where it says "category" click the little option there(box says league news at first), and a drop down box will come up. Select your teams name there and click it.
5. right below this , you will see it say "content" and in the upper left corner of that box there, you will see the word "source" , BE SURE TO CLICK THIS FIRST HERE!
6.after you have clicked "source" , then go down to the box where you would type words. first type in <a> ( just like it that)
7.then right after you type in <a> , then you paste your code right after it.
8. now you will notice when you paste your code , it will start like this <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="378" width="620" , you will need to only change where it says width="620" , to make it say width="450" , u dont have to retype the whole thing, just delete out the 620 and input 450 there. make sure the "450" is still on both sides. this is only thing you have to modify on these, so you maximize the viewing box on your teams page.
9. scroll down to bottom and click "post blog"
10. your done , you can check your teams page and it should be there now.
FOR USTREAM CHANNELS :

You will notice, your code start off like this <iframe width="480" , here you just need to delete the 480 , and replace it with 450 . make sure when you do it still looks like this <iframe width="450" but just notice now it says 450 in stead of 480. this is the only thing you need to change about the code, this is just to maximize the video player box for your teams page.
8. scroll down and click "post blog" after that and your done
9. you can look on your teams page now to make sure it worked properly
This is to tell you how to get your embed code for your streaming channel, so that you can put it on your teams page. These instructions are easy to follow. All games played against CPU must be live streamed(see rules page), along with putting a link (for this you just copy n paste the link to your channel) to your channel in chatbox right before your start playing. All playoff games Must be live streamed by at least one opponent( the one with the best net connection preferably) . However, it would be cool if everyone would embed their own channel(s) pages on their team page, so peps could just go to your teams page when your streaming, without having to copy n paste anything everytime you stream. Below i will explain where and how to find your codes, in another forum thread here ill explain how to embed it to your teams page.
For twitch channels:
1. After you sign up on twitch, and go to your twitch "channel" , look for the word "share" just below your "channel" . click it
2. a box will pop up, with three lines..... one(on top) with two links "of chain" linked together , this is just your pages link , NOT your embed code. the option below that, with a little video camera icon to the left of it , is the embed code. just copy that entire code.
3. to embed that code to your teams page , see forum thread on " how to embed your code to your team page"
For ustream:
1. After you create a ustream channel , go to your channels page, click the word "share" which is in the bottom right corner of your stream channel.
2 . then click the icon <> , this will pop up a box with the embed code in it(it auto has "normal" size picked, just leave that as is for now) , u then click "copy to clipboard" .
3 . to embed that code to your teams page see forum thread on it.
As it will be MANDATORY for any complaints to even be heard on the ps4. You must provide video footage of said complaint. the PS4 is supposed to automatically record last 15 minutes worth of gameplay.
the best way to record your entire game is to do this :
1 .at start of first quarter , double tap the "share" button . An icon of a movie clip with a red dot in it, will appear in ur upper right corner to let u know , its recording.
2. at the end of first quarter , just hit the share button 1 time . it will bring up a menu up . wait until you see the video start to play in the box on the left box option on this menu page, then once u see it start the video just hit O to back out of that screen and back to game
3. start of 2nd/next quarter, just double tap the share button again, ull see the icon pop up, showing u its recording......(this is what you do at the start of every quarter)
4. at the end of the 2nd and 3rd quarter , just hit the share button 1 time . it will bring up a menu up .wait until you see the video start to play in the box on the left box option on this menu page,. just hit O to back out of that screen and back to game( this is what u do at the end of every quarter)
How to record and capture a game session while Live Streaming
To capture a game session while live streaming, simply DOUBLE TAP the share button to start recording at start of the game. At the end of the first quarter, you will need to pause the game, hit the share button, wait until u see the video clip in left box start to play(this indicates it has saved that last video you recorded), then choose stop livestream. then back out to the game, then hit share button and restart your livestream, it will take u back to game, then double tap share button , make sure u see the movie icon with a red dot come up in right upper corner of your screen, then unpause the game.
you will need to do this at the start of the 2nd,3rd , and fourth quarters. so its a total of three pauses. once you are in habit of it, it wont take u that long. but unless you practice it , ull never get it. besides the fact you should be recording EVERY game.

After you have an account set up , follow this video below. be sure you watch it all the way through , it will explain quite a bit of things you all will need to know for madden, and just a good tutorial of how to utilize the share button.
