Giants recap
Giants started off strong this season with a quick 2-0 start riding the back of OPY CMC. Rolling into week three the season soon became a mediocre showing. The giants ended the year with one of if not the worst run def in the lg and it showed. With horrible play out of the defense the giants were losing games left and right by minimal margins most of the time. The Gmen will look to bolster the edge rush as well as the d line to try and improve on the biggest weakness the team has. Rodgers has regressed some but the offense can still be explosive with a strong run game as well as some talented pass catchers as long as the oline does their job.
Giants recap
In going 1 - 16, the GIANTS became the first franchise in NFL history to have multiple seasons with 15 or more losses. They were mathematically eliminated from the NFC North title contention in Week 7 extending an active NFL record drought of 25 consecutive seasons without a division title. They were then eliminated from playoff contention also in Week 7 extending their franchise record playoff drought to 15 consecutive seasons. The Giants had the longest postseason drought in the NFL. The Giants finished the season with a losing record for the tenth consecutive season, extending a franchise record that is something to be ashamed of. It was the first season in which the team lost every home game since 1999. The Giants also extended their road losing streak to 21 games and their losing streak within the division to 15 games, both date back to the 2015 season. It is safe to say that the Giants will be looking to save the franchise in this years up coming draft and word on the street is it will start with a QB.
