The Packers lose 41-31 but the game played far closer than that. In a game where Madden couldn't save Packer touchdowns as highlights because their were too many highlights, the Packers created too many turnovers to extremely athletic and elite user play. The Packers threw 6 INTS but had extremely high highs on offense where we just wouldn't go away. The Packers were rolling on offense if we kept the play calling honest. Running the ball was essential but our back up rookie rising star HB Phillip Lindsay went down early off with 7.5 yards per carry average. Darren Sproles has to step in and did well until he too went down. He had to step back in hurt, and slow as all hell, but finished with a 7.8 average yards per carry. The WRs finished well enough. Devante Parker and Kenny Stills both went over 130 yards and both had a touchdown. Our pass defense was great in spots and did just terrible blown coverage massively in spots. Overall we hung in their as long as we possibly could but in the end couldn't stop throwing picks. Had even one of those red zone picks been prevented, the game might be very different. The Packers fall to 5-4, and to 5th in the NFC, tied with the Bears and the Cowboys at 5-3. Lions and Vikings both grab Ws this week putting them at 6-3. In a batch of 5 teams including myself, I've got to compete with 4 loaded teams. I play 3/4 by seasons end. I play the fucking undefeated Cardinals with their world record breaking smashing crushing dominance on defense and their MLB sent straight from the heavens, hand picked my Mike Wright himself. We must capitalize on this game and use it as the template for what works going forward. Stay focused. Le'Veon Bell comes off the injury report next week against the Seahawks, THANK GOD???? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????
This is a must win if we have any hope of playoff contention. We pretty much have to shoot for 6-1 after this game. Aaron Rodgers had this to say after the loss at home: https://youtu.be/LFLBygc6ZvI
