Texans done for the season, or at least till I can replace this freshly broken controller.
Lamar Miller 11 rushes for 130yds. DW4 12/21 for 108yds, first game n forever his completion% was over 50, two picks on defense. Watson sacked 4 times, 3 out of those 4 were straight up ball stretch out reach sacks as Watson was 98% finished with his throwing motion to an open wr. But, ultimately the game deciding play was a sack/fumble returned 60yds for a defensive Pats TD to break the tie. Texans never could recover and gain the lead, including a frustrating 4th quarter drive where 1st down the ball was handed off to Lamar Miller where instead of running up a wide open hole, he just KNEELED for a -4 yard loss(pictured)!!! 2nd down sack, followed by a 3rd down pass to a WR near the sideline, which somehow changed direction as the ball released and was caught at the LOS in front of the center by the TE for a 0yd gain, I'm guessing that was a dlineman deflection or something to make the ball go from straight to the left. Finally behind in the 4th, the 4th down attempt gets jumped at the goal line for a interception by Ex Texan Mathieu. 9 of Ingram's 10 rushes for 63 yards was in one final drive where a 3rd down stop was negated due to Texans facemask penalty allowing the drive to continue with a fresh first down and free 15yds. Penalty yards plus consistent rush drive resulted in a nail in the coffin field goal with 50 seconds to put the pats up by 10 versus a Texans squad with no timeouts.
Texans have yet to win a game this season, have nothing to show for it with their earliest pick being a high seeded Seahawks 3rd round... Texans failed on multiple attempts to get a labbing partner, tips advice etc...don't know what to do anymore . As the sneak disses, criticism and backhanded comments pile up, one has to wonder what future team owner move is best for the league as a whole and for the Texans organization... What we have now isn't enjoyable for anyone except whoever has Texans on their schedule and the dolphins who have multiple Texans picks
