SCHEDULING GAMES
1) You have 24 hours after advancing to schedule your game. You can schedule your game for any time within two days after advance. We will advance every TWO days at 8pm central time.
3) If one opponent does not show up to the agreed-upon time, the waiting opponent can face CPU after notifying the commissioner and showing proof that you have been waiting. A force win is also an option unless it is a game with important playoff implications.
3) If your opponent does not respond to you 24 hours after advance, you are free to face CPU once you notify the commissioner and show proof of reaching out and allowing 24 hours.
4) You cannot schedule your game to AFTER the set advance time.
5) If the commissioner receives multiple complaints of you not responding to your opponent, you will be immediately replaced without warning for inactivity.
IN-GAME RULES
1) If one opponent lags out, the decision is made depending on the score. If the game was a blowout, a forced win would be given to the person that's ahead (unless they were the one to lag out). If the team ahead lags out, the only two options would be a replay or fair sim, unless the losing team agrees to a forced win.
2) If someone rage quits, you must send proof of the score and situation to prove they rage quit. If it is clear that they did, you will be given a forced win, and the rage quitter could be kicked from the league. Quitting if losing to CPU is considered rage quitting. Alert the commissioner if you have to restart vs. CPU for any reason.
3) Intentionally allowing your opponents to score to tank is forbidden. Running plays with obvious intent to allow your opponent to score or not to be competitive is forbidden. Those actions will get you removed from the league.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- running FG block, punt formation to allow your opponent to score.
- running backward for intentional safeties
- purposely blowing FGs to lose games in an obvious manner (very wide right or left)
The recommended way to "tank" is to be as competitive as you can for as long as you can in the game, but not make a strong effort to win in the end. That does not mean running FG block or punt formation and running backward. There are ways to tank without making it look blatantly obvious.
4) Putting safeties and cornerbacks at linebacker and running the common YouTube adjustments is forbidden. These adjustments are usually obvious, and can't be accidentally done, so if you are reported doing so you will be removed.
5) Running up the score on a losing user who is intending on ending the game is against league rules and will get you removed.
6) The "Playmaker" ability is now banned in the league. You may not have this ability on your running back.
Please note: Running anything that is broken just to get cheap touchdowns and wins is forbidden. Even if it is found to be broken AFTER you've used it, you could be removed from the league. Please play fairly, and win your games like a man. Don't be cheap and don't be a cheater.
MISC. LEAGUE RULES:
1) If you agree to a trade, you have a four-hour window to back out of the trade. Once four hours have passed, you cannot back out of a trade. This is only in effect when trading is possible on Madden.
2) This league is Instagram driven. Must have an Instagram to be apart of the league and must be active on Instagram.
3) You can switch teams only in the offseason with the commissioner's approval.
4) The league has two chats: Updates and Casual. You cannot send any casual messages in the Updates chat. It is only for putting players on the block, and for the commissioner to send important league updates.
5) Please do not spam the chat with OTB messages. If you spam the Updates chat you will be asked to no longer send OTBs for the day, or you will be removed.
6) Leaving the UPDATES CHAT is a message to the commissioner that you no longer want to be apart of the league, and you will be replaced. You may be replaced without being notified.
7) Your OTB message should be specific to the player on the block, and please include their overall, age, and dev trait. You may not place your entire team on the block. If you wish to do so, you must DM the commissioner of the league to get approval.
8) You may not switch a SS or X-Factor player's position before notifying the commissioner to get approval. This is especially essential if you switch someone to a position they wouldn't normally play (such as a WR to CB, or RB to TE, etc.)
9) If your opponent cannot play, the game will be either fair-simmed or you will be given a force win. That decision will be made by the leadership team depending on the situation. To prevent people from saying they can't play to get a force win, the maximum number of times you can CPU a season is TWO times a season.
10) After TWO CPUs, any time you go on AP, it will automatically be a force win for your opponent. I may also consider removing you from the league.
- If you have a dev prompt for a game that your opponent can't play in, DM me. In that situation, I may let you face CPU, but ask that you don't stat pad excessively. If you do, you will be removed from the league.
11) Running anything that is considered broken on Madden could result in you being removed from the league.
**NEW** TNSML MERCY RULE
If a user is up by 30 or more points in a game, the losing user MUST choose between one of the following two options:
A) Concede the game
OR
B) Chew clock along with opponent.
The losing user MUST choose one. If they refuse to choose one, winning user must notify commissioner and begin chewing clock.
Here is the protocol that must be followed:
1. Once a user is up 30+, winning user must add the losing user to a chat with a commissioner.
2. Losing user must choose an option: Concede or Chew Clock
3. Both users must abide by the option chosen.
EXCEPTION: IF WINNING USER CAN PROVE THAT THEY HAVE A DEV GAME, COMMISSIONER CAN FORCE OPTION B. WHEN YOU HAVE A DEV GAME, MAKE SURE TO TAKE A PIC OR SCREENSHOT IT BEFORE STARTING YOUR GAME.
MUST READ:
- Each TNSML user is allowed only TWO concedes per season. Once you've exhausteed all your concedes, you can only choose the option to chew clock.
- If a losing user is constantly involved in games that must chew clock or concede, the commissioners will consider removing that user from the league.
- If either user begins to run field goal formation, punt formation, or anything that allows the other user to score, that user will be removed from the league.
- If either user refuses to abide by option chosen, a commissioner must be notified and the user who refused will be given a forced loss even if they are winning.
- If the winning user fails to abide by the protocol above, that user will be given a forced loss in their next game.
- If the winning user attempts to fight against the chew clock rule by running out of bounds to stop the clock OR call multiple timeouts, the user will be given a force loss unless it is in the first half of the game.
