For years now, the Falcons have been winning games with a high-powered offensive attack that has lit up scoreboards and teams alike. But what happens when you take a really good defense and compliment it with that same offensive-attacking mindset? "You get the pedigree for championship football" quipped Desmond Trufant, who is apart of this new 2015 Falcons defense which has harassed Quarterbacks and receivers for the first half of the season. Alot has been placed on the shoulders of rookie "LEO" Vic Beasley and he has responded well. Heading into the bye week, Beasley Jr has amassed an astrounding 16 sacks on the opposition and shows no signs of letting up.
"Coach has a great gameplanned prepared for us. We just try to go out and execute to the absolute best of our ability. Once you get that, you get a really good team." The Falcons are aware that being unprepared can get you sidetracked, similar to what happened in their week 2 game but since then, the wins for the most part have been, dominant to say the last. Multiple wins vs owners by atleast 3 to 4 scores, not to mention shutting out a Houston team at home. In the recent weeks, Trufant has picked 4 passes off in his last 3 games and Adrian Clayborn has joined Beasley in constantly harrasing the opposing QB. One thing is for certain, if this level of consistency remains afloat, the Falcons may very well lift up their 5th Lombardi soon..
