Coach Crim and his New York Jets were able to wrap up their 2015 season with a divsion leading record of 8-8. To kick-off their most recent campaign the "Green Giants" have defeated their first three opponents.
Starting Tight-End Brian Acosta returned to the line-up for the first time since the pre-season to take on the New England Patriots. With both teams jocking for the division lead, the addition of Acosta tipped the scaled in New York's favour.
Acosta was targeted a total of 8 times in his return, catching 6 balls for a total of 99 yards. QB Geno Smith now has one of his favourite targets back in the line-up and the Jets will certainly expect him to turn it around.
Despite being off the a 3-0 start the Jets have relied heavily on their defense inspite of the woes encountered by Smith. Geno has thrown a total of 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions through the first three games, splitting his touchdowns with starting wide-outs Erick Decker and Doug Baldwin.
The Jets will travel to Seattle this week to take on a win-less Seahawks sqaud. They may be winless but the Seahawks roster is still rittled with talent, so both the Jets' offense and defense must be up for the test.
