Going into this season QB Joe Flacco said this was the most sophisticated offense the Ravens have installed and thus far the team just cannot find their rhythm on offense just yet but they are still effective. The offense struggled to gain rhythm last week against a tough Cowboys defense but they were effective down the stretch when they needed to be. This week we saw the head coach and QB Joe Flacco on the side line discussing a change of pace after Flacco and the offense failed to convert a 3rd and four and then on the second drive Flacco threw an interception to Browns all pro CB Joe Haden to start the 2nd qtr.
But there were some great plays that were made out of what the Ravens would like to be their base offensive formation. They just could not stack plays. So they changed pace and offseason acquisition HB Zac Stacy becamse the primary focus leading the Ravens to victory rushing for 184 yards on 32 carries.
Rookie WR Jamerson Jean continues to make contributions offensively. The lack of rhythm has also had an effect on the Flacco to Smith connection. Look for the Ravens to get this solved rather quickly.
Defensively the team continues to shine and runs new schemes every week. The team was glad to have Suggs back. The secondary picked off Manziel five times in this game and is looking forward to stacking dominate performances.
