There's a new era in Atlanta. After Coach Q seemingly left Atlanta for good in order to explore other ventures, Atlanta was not really doing much with it's football program. The closest coach to even had a bit of success was Bryce. Outside of that, Atlanta was the place to get coaches fired and they went through quite a few over the last 3 cycles. Meanwhile, Q took his talents to Denver where he made them a perennial playoff contender, getting them to an AFC Championship appearance as well as then going to the Chiefs and Chargers, both netting them championship rings.
But according to him, he felt like he needed to go home. After seeing what his beloved franchise had become, he knew what he needed to do. It became even more clear when, in the first round of the draft, the Falcons selected all-world Superstar running back, Bijan Robinson. The signing of Bates to pair with AJ Terrell made it clear that he would definitely have pieces to work with. So with being the case, Coach Q packed his bags and when back to the place where he won his first 11 SFL titles, Hotlanta. To try and bring them back to the promised land with one of the younger teams in the league. Only time will tell what willl become of his return but the fans of the Falcons have fond memories of the success Q brings and hopes he can duplicate that.
