M23 -- SFL Pick'Em S2 -- Week 1

Week 1 of Season 2 of the Pick’em is here!
We’re back again with the 2nd edition in the 2nd season of the SFL Pick’Em! Good to be back and in full effect! We have some newcomers to the pick’em (shoutout to Schwartz, PatLad, Mike, Nate, Chan and Malek) and the old heads who have sworn revenge on yours truly for winning the pick’em with relative ease (smirk). On a serious note though, I always enjoy seeing how people think other teams are gonna do and this is a big part of getting those opinions and thoughts in a fun way! Without further ado, let’s talk some important stuff…
Pick’Em changed a few ways. Locks are no longer worth just three measly points. Now they are worth FIVE points, making them ever more important. Also, the picks in the playoffs are worth way more (high stakes stuff) and if either of the teams that you picked to make the playoffs get either eliminated from playoff contention or are eliminated in the playoffs then you lose the ability to use locks! So those 10 points added at the end can truly make or break someone’s entire pick’em! Lawd!
Beyond that, everything is pretty much the same! Week ones are fun because you have no idea how things will play out with new people in new places or using new players…all of it is just unpredictable for the most part. This first week, we have a number of toss up games. Codie and the Bengals vs Turk and the Packers appears to be a toss-up, PatLad and the Seahawks against TRC and the Titans also appears to be a toss-up and the OG Walker and the Jets vs Crim and the Chiefs also appears to be a toss-up. Those should be some really fun games. I’d like to also add that either Stackz and the Texans or Brad and the Rams are gonna have over a .500 record after this week! Congratulations to one of y’all!
With alllll of that being said, let’s see what the new and the old selectors think about this weeks’ match-ups!
NOTE – As mentioned in the rules, Auto-Pilot games are automatic wins for everyone minus the two teams involved.
