New Look Panthers Secure Week 1 Victory

     The SFL Carolina Panthers made some offseason changes under General Manager Jason Miller, and Head Coach Neal Brown. They decided it was best to get rid of some veteran players in favor of younger talent along with some coaching changes.. As far as the coaches changes go they decided to fire Offesnive Coordinator / QBs Coach Matt Leinart. They proceded to hire former West Virginia great Pat White to both positions. Coach Neal Brown is clearly looking for an offensive change due to last years passing attack which was very poor.

     Their first move invloving players was the decision to not bring long term Panther Kawann Short back. In return the team inked Da'Shawn Hand to a 4 year deal afer the Detroit Lions decided to let him walk. The main thing they did was cut veteran Quarterback Teddy "Two Gloves" Bridgewater with one year remainin gon his deal. The team decided it was time to let him go and saved 16 million dollars by releasing him.  Moving forward to the NFL Draft GM Jason Miller knew the task ahead of him. As the Panthers second round selection was getting closer they knew they were going to get their man. with the 60th pick in the 2022 NFL draft the Carolina Panthers selected Quarterback Mac Jones out of Alabama.

     What should we expect from the Madden 21 Season 3 Panthers? Coach Brown was quoted as saying "I guess we will just have to wait and see, won' we?" We waited and we saw as the Panthers defeated the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. It took the offense some time to gel and get on the same page, but once they did it looked better than anything we had seen last season as a whole unit. Rookiw Mac Jones impressed in his debut and went 17-24 with 207 yards and 3 tocuhdowns with zero turnovers. Teammates and coaches all said they were proud of how Jones handled the spotlight in his first game. The Carolina Panthers look to take on division rival New Orleans in week 2.
