Won't be ranking myself for these power rankings but let's get right into it.
1. |
Cleveland Browns (9-0) |
Eddie being the reigning champ is looking to defend his title and has taken the league by storm thus far having the 2nd ranked offense in points scored and 2nd ranked defense in points as well and being one of two undefeated teams left in the league and the only unbeaten team left in the AFC after knocking off the previously unbeaten Raiders. |
2. |
Philadelphia Eagles (9-0) |
Zach being the other unbeaten team left has been off to a hot start, his offense Is 3rd in points per game but the defense is what has been doing it for Zach being ranked 1st in yards allowed and 1st in passing yards allowed. In week 11 the Browns and Eagles will face off to claim the top spot in the SFL. |
3. |
Denver Broncos (7-2) |
Q took an early loss this season to the Bucs and then a very, very questionable loss to Goins who was 0-8 at time. After the bad loss to Goins, Q faced a 7-1 Austin who was totting the #1 ranked offense in the league with what looked like an unstoppable Henry Ruggs. Q’s defense that leads the league in sacks completely shut down Ruggs and the Raiders offense with a dominating 55-23 victory. Have to put respect on Q’s defense after the amazing showing vs Las Vegas. |
4. |
Las Vegas Raiders (7-2) |
Austin joined the league last minute and jumped into the most competitive division in the SFL and went on to start 7-0 but has taken back to back losses. Austin still has the #1 ranked offense in the league and took L’s to the #1 and 3 ranked teams in my rankings so I don’t think there’s much to worry about. |
5. |
Los Angeles Chargers (7-2) |
LB’s offense may not be flashy but it is efficient as Justin Herbert has the fewest INTs out of all starting QBs and also leads all QBs in completion percentage at 74%. LB took a bad loss in the division vs Austin and a 3 pt loss to the Bucs. The question for LB going forward will be the offense keeping up with the high scoring and flashiness that the rest of his division has. |
6. |
Seattle Seahawks. (7-2) |
Yet another squad sitting at 7-2 Malek and his Seahawks are currently the 2 seed in the NFC. The Russ and DK connection has been real, DK being the 2nd best WR in the SFL behind Henry Ruggs. Malek has skills and I know he can ball, but for me it’ll be the decision making that determines how far he can go this season as the Seahawks recently took a loss to the 3-6 Rams where clock management looked very sus and lead to a L. |
7. |
San Francisco 49ers (7-3) |
Bryce coming into week 11 leads the SFL in rushing yards but took the back seat in the NFC West after an ugly loss to the Seahawks, in Bryce’s defense he said he was off the liquor but the 2 play again in week 17 which most likely will be for the division. |
8. |
Green Bay Packers (7-2) |
B’s defense has been great this season ranking 2nd in yards allowed, 4th in passing yards allowed and 3rd in rushing yards allowed. The packers have some important matchups down the line and the NFC North is still close with many division games to be played. Ranked 32 in rushing yards per game on offense B will be relying on the Aaron Rodgers and the passing game to win this season. |
9. |
Carolina Panthers (7-3) |
Jason deserves some respect on his name, coming into this cycle he was not the team that was expected to be leading the NFC south through 10 games but he has came to play, Jason is 5-0 in his division and would most likely take first place if he beats Chan again in week 17. |
10. |
Minnesota Vikings (6-3) |
Castro has been putting a show on with explosive offensive performances in multiple games this season lead by Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen. Castro’s been involved in multiple shootouts this year and looks to keep relying on that explosive offense to continue the season. |
11. |
Tampa Bay Bucs (5-5) |
Goon Squad has had some wins vs really good teams this season and in my opinion is yet to take a bad loss. With a top 3 passing attack the offense is not the question, tampa bay will need to figure out how to stop the pass though on the other side of the ball as they are the worst pass defense in the league statistically. |
12. |
Dallas Cowboys (6-3) |
While Mike is sitting at the 7 seed there is still enough to question where he really is competition wise as all 6 wins have came from sub .500 teams any every matchup vs a team with a positive record has resulted in a loss. |
13. |
Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) |
AC had started off the year 1-4 but recently traded the best tackle in the SFL for 99 ovr beast Aaron Donald. This traded needed to happen for KC as their defense is ranked 30th in the league. After adding AD there will for sure be improvements to that defense. It may be too late for KC this year considering their remaining schedule and Mahomes injury (#Reaper Death Seal) that will keep him sidelines for a couple weeks. |
14. |
Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4) |
Despite having the 29th ranked passing offense in the league the jaguars are sitting at #1 in their division. The AFC south is still up for grabs between the titans and jags so we’ll see what happens in the south. |
15. |
New Orleans Saints (4-5) |
Starting off the cycle with the highest rated team in madden Chan hasn’t really met expectations sitting at 4-5. A rocky start left Chan at 1-5 but he’s now on a 3 game win streak after taking down the 49ers which was a big win for him. Chan will have to nearly win out to try and secure the division but should still secure a wildcard spot. |
16. |
Detroit Lions (5-4) |
Kenny Golladay has been the focal point of this Detroit offense through this entire season. The Lions are only a game back from first with more division games to play. The NFC north very close and nobody has pulled away yet. |
17. |
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5) |
Crim’s run defense is currently ranked first in the SFL and also ranked 4th in total yards, there are dogs on that defense without a question but in order for the Steelers to compete for a wildcard spot an offense will need to be found as the Steelers are ranked 28th In total offense. |
18. |
Tennessee Titans (5-4) |
The Titans are 2nd in the AFC south but tied record wise with the 1st place jaguars. It will be interesting to see how things work out in the south but the Brightside for the titans is their #2 ranked run defense. |
19. |
Arizona Cardinals (4-5) |
JD sitting at third in the West has beaten a 7 win Seahawks team and has some more division games to prove he can really compete in the West. A bad loss this week to the bills on a last second Diggs TD bumped him down for me. |
20. |
Buffalo Bills (4-6) |
Sitting at 4-6 but first place in the AFC east shows the state of that division, the lowest ranked team that’s currently in the playoff bracket. Julian leads the league in interceptions which is nothing new here, but that will need to be cleaned up to keep the one spot in that god forsaken division. |
21. |
Chicago Bears (4-6) |
Chicago just had a critical division win vs the Vikings that only puts them 2 games out of first place. In order to make a playoff run Chicago will need to elevate their play from where it is at right now as they look very lackluster on defense despite the talent on the defensive side of that team. |
22. |
Washington Football Team (3-6) |
After an 0-4 start Gharl has started to pick it up a little bit on the offensive side while his defense ranks top 10 in all categories. The passing game still needs much work as it’s ranked 30th in the SFL. A late run is needed in order for Gharl to have any playoff hopes. |
23. |
New England Patriots (3-6) |
Odeazy has shown his pass defense is elite ranking 6th but the Patriots are currently the worst run defense in the league which is a huge problem. No telling what will happen the rest of the way in the AFC east. |
24. |
Los Angeles Rams (3-6) |
Turk is 2-0 since trading away Aaron Donald. Has the new addition of Shwartz been boosting his offensive play? Im not sure but Turk still has a lot of work to do to become a playoff team in the NFC. |
25. |
New York Jets (3-7) |
Despite being 3-7 Gomes is still in contention to win the AFC East, a run at the end of the season could very well find Gomes making the playoffs. |
26. |
New York Giants (2-7) |
I’m pretty sure both of Gabes wins have been from straight sims so he could very well be 0-9 but he’ll be placed at 26 for the record. |
27. |
Atlanta Falcons (1-8) |
Would not have expected to see Goins sitting at an awful 1-8 at this point of the season, he is ranked as the best 1 win team since his win was against a 7-2 Broncos. #FreeJulio |
28. |
Houston Texans (1-8) |
Robb has to be the biggest disappointment for me thus far, in a division that he can definitely be competing in he’s sitting at 1-8. Robb has played a lot of good times so hopefully he can turn it around in the second half and make this year somewhat salvageable. |
29. |
Cincinnati Bengals (1-8) |
Codie has 1 win through week 10 and the only bright spot seems to be Joe Mixon. This season is a wash for the Bengals but maybe they’ll bounce back next year. |
30. |
Indianapolis Colts (1-8) |
OG Walker is new so I will cut him some slack, hope to see improvements next year. |
31. |
Miami Dolphins (0-10) |
Statistically and record wise the worst team in the SFL. I guess the only briht |
