As they looked towards the off-season following a thrashing in the NFC Championship game, the Carolina Panthers had some big shoes to fill with the departure of offensive lineman Matt Paradis and Daryl Williams.
The market had some marque names looking for a new home, but in the end the Panthers settled to bring back the two former teammates and make another run. Paradis and Williams will be thrown into their normal starting roles and Quarterback Dwayne Haskins is happy with the retention.
"It's good to have the boys back, especially when we're looking to modify our system," said the second year Panther. "Having familiar faces re up in this situation makes things more comfortable for sure."
With their biggest needs now filled, Carolina looks towards the draft where they will be selecting 29th overall. The Panthers attempted to move up for weeks before the draft, however they found no suitors, which comes to no surprise with the SFL being quiet on the trade front this past off-season.
