First thing first, R.I.P. to the Goat, Kobe Bean Bryant.
I'd like to dedicate this champions to the memory of Kobe Bryant and to the city of Atlanta. It's been a truly great ride, bringing ten different Super Bowl championship banners to the great state of Georgia and that makes me think about what's next and what else can be conquered. I'd like to thank the front office for pulling the 11th hour deal that brought Lamar Jackson to the Falcons.
I'd like to thank the offensive coordinator, who seemlessly melded the Falcons playbook with what Lamar does well and that resulted in a championship in the first year. Thanks to all of the fans who supported us. I'd like to thank the Eagles, in the Divisional Round for taking the Falcons to the limit. Although we were rusty, that game was what we needed in order to propel ourselves to our fun destination.
I'd like to thank the Washington Redskins team for being a model of consistency. You guys always keep us on point as we know those games can go either way. Steel sharpens steel. Rivals are definitely needed in this day and age. Happy that you got that one that has eluded you for quite some time. It's been a long time since the OG's were the final four teams in the hunt for the SFL title. Kinda reminded me of the older days and I'm not complaining about that at all.
Glad to know that the Jags are still one of the stingiest defenses in all the land. So salute to LB for doing what he does best. Shout out to Goins for having the vision and seeing this come to fruition. Goinstradamus seems to be a real thing. Hopefully Lamar has done you guys who are real Ravens fan well. I'd like to thank the Browns team for providing us with another meeting in the Superbowl. Another game that the Falcons had to be on point for. ODB (OBJ) was truly a nightmare to deal with. Looking forward to seeing you guys during season four for this rematch, as well as Washington.
We're obviously very humble to having a tenth title. This has been rarified air for quite some time now, but this one feels much sweeter than the previous few. I don't know how much time left, I have in Atlanta, but I want the people to know, that I've done as much as I possibly could to bring Greatness to the city and the team. The Mamba Mentality is here and always will be. The Kobe System has proven that hard work will always pay off. With that being said, we're gonna continue to keep grinding in Flowery Branch, as we are not done yet. We just know that nothing lasts forever. We are humble for the rumble. Just doing God's work. This is something that God loves.
We look forward to competing next season and will continue to put our best foot forward. Management will continue looking for talent to add to this current roster pool so that Atlanta can continue to compete for championships in the very near future. Shout out to Lamar for being an X Factor with 5 zone abilities. Shout out to Will B (Gharl) for improving so much in a short amount of time. May you continue to succeed. Ignore any hate that may come your way. Those who hate, aren't really better than you anyway. So remain truthful to the work you've put in and you can compete for championships also.
Although we have some draft picks missing because we're still paying our debt for the Lamar Jackson deal, we'll continue to put trust in our scouting department and watch as they add great players to the Falcons roster. With that being said, the Falcons may be in the market for a Defensive Tackle. So if you have one that you're contemplating about moving, you know the number. We did it again!
Mamba Out!
