"Trubisky rolling to his right, looking for Robinson underneath...PICKED OFF, Jordan Hicks running down the sideline, fifteen, ten, five, and hes going to score! Touchdown Arizona! I can not believe what I just saw." Sound familiar? This was how the Chicago Bears 2020 season came to a close against the Arizona Cardinals in overtime. The Bears finsihed the regular season 15-1, and had hopes of reaching Tampa Bay to play in Super Bowl 55. In what was a wild, back-and-forth, thrilling Divisonal Round game, the Bears quarterback let the team down in their biggest moment. Trubisky threw a wildly inaccurate pass in the direction of top target Allen Robinson, which ended up being his last attempted pass of the season. In an interview with Fox Sports, Trubisky told reporters that he experienced many sleepless nights following that playoff loss to Arizona. "I've been no stanger to heartbreaking January defeats since entering the NFL, but that particular game hit me hard. I felt like I let my teammates, my coaches, and most importantly, the fans and city of Chicago down. I didn't shy away from the film, as I used it to analize my game from scratch, to ensure nothing like that ever happens again." The Bears quarterback started off the season breaking his clavicle in a home victory agaisnt the Cleavland Browns. Since his return, Trubisky has shown majory signs of improvement, but he has stoll proven to be inconsistant at times. If the Bears are going to make a run at the Lombardi this year, he without a doubt the team's most vital piece of the puzzle, and he must prove that he has truly moved on and learned from his past woes.
