1The SFL has now hit the halfway point once this week comes to a close. Here is where we'll see where most teams are headed, but at the same time where a season can change in the blink of an eye.
Competition is bound to heat up for some, but for others, we'll see the same old product when it comes to the sticks.
This week, we're joined by a familiar face in the SFL's own commish, Q,who is never shy when it comes to voicing his opinion in regards to those in the league.
Before we jump into the picks, lets take a look at the standings.

Here are the picks for week 8:
Game Of The Week
(4-2) Chicago Bears vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-1)
Crim's Pick: Los Angeles Chargers
The Chicago Bears became the centre of attention early on in the SFL cylce when they made some pretty big claims in regards to the NFC. Last week, they saw themselves fall short in a battle with the New Orleans Saints and this week won't be any easier with a date in Los Angeles.
Mike and this defense will hold their own as the Bears' defense attempts to do the same. Ed takes a slice of humble pie here.
(3-4) New Orleans Saints vs Arizona Cardinals (4-3)
Ed's Pick: New Orleans Saints
"The saints have gotten hot as of late winning back to back games in which they were the underdog. They’ll look to make it three in a row this week against the high flying Arizona Cardinals. Look for the dome to be rocking, and for the Saints to march out of week 8 with another big W."
(5-1) New York Jets vs Jacksonville Jaguars (3-4)
Clint's Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars
"Jason also shows signs of abilities that can lead him somewhere, but lb is always prepared for his opponents and can be very cerebral and plotting on offense, which could wear Jason out. I have lb winning in a low scoring contest."
(4-2) Chicago Bears vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-1)
Bryce's Pick: Los Angeles Chargers
Mike comes into the week starting strong but without wins in the last 2 weeks, and looking to bounce back. Ed on the other hand suffered an upset that a lot of us predicted last week and also looking to bounce back from. Look for this game to be a shootout.
Chargers 28- Bears 24
(4-2) Chicago Bears vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-1)
Bryce's Pick: Los Angeles Chargers
Mike comes into the week starting strong but without wins in the last 2 weeks, and looking to bounce back. Ed on the other hand suffered an upset that a lot of us predicted last week and also looking to bounce back from. Look for this game to be a shootout.
Chargers 28- Bears 24
(4-2) Chicago Bears vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-1)
Q's Pick: Los Angeles Chargers
These are 2 defensive minded teams with offenses who have the ability to score. I think Mike pulls out the win though because Ed has had a rough couple weeks after losing to Gomes by 1 and getting upset by Julian. The chargers defense will slow down the bears offense.
Chargers 28 - Bears 13
(1-6) Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings (4-3)
Q's Pick: Washington Redskins
Skill wise, AC has the advantage in spades. Gomes can still play him close though. However, if Canada's Cocaine Cowboy is on his Scarface shit, he's going to get buckets dropped on him.
Locks
(1-5) Green Bay Packers vs Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)
Crim's Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
This Green Bay Packers squad has yet to get it going between their future Hall of Fame QB and his #1 target in Davante Adams. Word around town is that these two might be on their way out, when that's the case, there isn't much reason to have faith in this squad.
Codie will easily take this one, someone may die on the road to 700 once again.
(3-3) Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles (7-0)
Ed's Pick: Philadelphia Eagles
"The hottest team in the NFC keeps it rolling against an underwhelming Buffalo squad. I don’t expect this one to be close"
(0-7) New York Giants vs Detroit Lions (1-5)
Clint's Pick: Detroit Lions
"Well Bando is Bando and he seems poised for 0-16 season Rio wins"
(5-1) Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Tennessee Titans (1-5-1)
Bryce's Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Austin has been flying under the radar with not a lot of people talking about him. Making a name for himself and his team that a lot criticized him for taking. GOINS and the Titans just haven’t got their feet underneath them yet. Lookin to see Austin and his defense handle this game comfortably.
Bucs 21 - Titans 10
(5-2) Atlanta Falcons vs Seattle Seahawks (2-5)
Jason's Pick: Atlanta Falcons
Nobody really needs to write anything for this because Q is a top tier wonder and Utexas is bottom tier and has struggled significantly
Falcons 56 - Seahawks 0
(2-5) Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals (6-1)
Q's Pick: Cincinnati Bengals
Castro is officially the second worst owner in the entire league. He lost to Texas..... Texas, let that marinate.
Bengals win by 30+.
Upset
(1-6) Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings (4-3)
Crim's Pick: Washington Redskins
As much as Gomes needs this one to stay afloat in the NFC North, I just simply cannot see AC slumping any more. A former SFL champion doesn't take kindly to dropping 6 of their first 7, and with this Vikings squad on the ropes as it is, I can see AC taking advantage of this.
(2-5) Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals (6-1)
Ed's Pick: Los Angeles Rams
"Looking at these rosters on paper, it doesn’t exactly look like an LAR win would be an upset, but the records suggest otherwise. Expect Aaron Donald to show why he’s a two time defensive player of the year in this one."
(3-4) New Orleans Saints vs Arizona Cardinals (4-3)
Clint's Pick: New Orleans Saints
"Jbyrd is a player but Julian has flashes himself, and the team is just better on paper overall. Julian wins"
(1-6) Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings (4-3)
Bryce's Pick: Washington Redskins
AC, a former super bowl champion has started off pretty rough so far in the season, but don’t let that distract you from his resumé. Gomes has been a middle of the pack team this far and I just see Ac getting started in the year finally with a close win in this one.
Redskins 17- Vikings 13
(0-7) New York Giants vs Detroit Lions (1-5)
Jason's Pick: New York Giants
This is the week that Bando finds something and it won’t be much, this will be a turnover fest at its finest. I think Saquon will break a big TD run that makes the difference with each team having a pick 6
Giants 14 - Lions 7
(3-4) New Orleans Saints vs Arizona Cardinals (4-3)
Q's Pick: Arizona Cardinals
Julian is more than likely going to lose this game. However he has four X-FACTORS and that should keep him in the game. In a perfect parallel world he could win this game. However, Dr. Strange isn't here jumping through the Multiverse so he's going to die.
