The Future of the SFL Going Forward

This has been a tumultuous cycle to say the least. As a league, we've become stagnant. Some owners have become either stagnant or ridiculously complacent and that stops immediately. To be blunt, some owners will NOT be invited back for the next cycle and that falls on them.
By the same token, there are owners who have done little to nothing in regards to content posted or games played and as a result the following has happened...
If you (the owner), missed a majority of your games, quit a league game, which is forbidden, switched teams mid-cycle, or DIDN'T make the playoffs in the first 3 seasons of the cycle (double digit owners didn't play in the final season), or, if you have not completed 4 seasons without an extended absence or sabbatical, you have been stripped of your team effective immediately. Seniority means absolutely nothing in regards to this change and we will be consistent with this change going forward at the end of every Madden. Think of it as, "Coach Firing.."
In regards to selecting teams, we will be following the same criteria as last year and as a result I will posting a list available teams for next cycle as well as the order for team selection.
So with that being explained, the following 20 teams are currently available for Madden 20:
Detroit Lions
San Francisco 49ers
Baltimore Ravens
Indianapolis Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers
Carolina Panthers
NY Jets
NY Giants
Cincinnati Bengals
Chicago Bears
Denver Broncos
Minnesota Vikings
Green Bay Packers
Seattle Seahawks
Tennessee Titans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Arizona Cardinals
Oakland Raiders
New England Patriots
New Orleans Saints
AFC North (Bengals, Ravens, Steelers)
AFC South (Colts, Jaguars, Titans)
AFC East (Jets & Patriots)
AFC West (Broncos & Raiders)
NFC North (Lions, Bears, Vikings, Packers)
NFC South (Panthers, Saints)
NFC East (Giants)
NFC West (Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals)
To the rest of the owners, who have been allowed to keep their teams by this criteria, you will have a deadline on whether you wish to keep your team or release that team into the Free Agent Pool as well.
After that, we will head into the team selection for Madden 20. I understand that some owners may be upset with these changes but I feel as though they are necessary. So, if you feel as though, you feel slighted or you don't agree with these changes, maybe this league isn't for you anymore. Again, this applies to everyone going forward. We've tried to give owners their favorite teams in the past and that just didn't work out. So it's time to shake up things in the league. May you all look forward to Madden 20
