After missing all but 3 games of the 2019 season with an undisclosed medical reason Coach Miller is back on the sideline. He is eager to get back out there and coach the game he loves again. He was asked about last season and he said “I watched these guys every week and we didn’t finish the way we wanted to but they went out and competed so I was proud of them”. This new season will be a rebuilding year for the offense of Minnesota as they still have the worst line in the league and have now cut Kirk Cousins and signed RG3.
The offensive outlook is well just pitiful to be honest. They have really really good skill players but how will they make plays or even get the ball? The offensive line couldn’t block a flea and the QB situation is near embarrassing. It will be a miracle if this team averages 14 PPG this upcoming season, but with money to spend this offseason because of a Cousins departure there’s something to smile about.
Now on the other side of the ball the defense still looks pretty solid for the most part. They’re aging so that will end soon but they have one more good year together in the eyes of Coach Miller. They had some players move position such as Xavier Rhodes to free safety but in the long run that will help this team succeed on the defensive side of the ball.
Our experts here at WVSPN predicted the Vikings record and here’s what they said.
Jason: 4-12
Austin: 5-11
Codie: 4-12
Mike: 3-13
Bryce 1-15
Andy: 4-12
It doesn’t Seem like the experts are to high on the Vikings this year but a surprise could happen (high unlikely).
