The Bills are playing it close to the vest as they continue to make plays to help themselves advance in the tournament. The defense came up big again against the Cleveland Browns. Jordan Poyer felt he was snubbed by the league on a Pro Bowl bid but has come up big against both the Patriots last game and set the tone early against the Browns in the divisional round snagging this interception on the first defensive possession. No lie, it was one of those "madden" things.
Jerry Hughes continued his reign of getting after the QB since returning from the injury.
The Bills dialed up a few new pressures this game to get the linebackers involved in the pass rush. Matt Milano recording a QB tackle.
Harrison Phillips has been a quiet presence for the Bills but he has improved tremendously in establishing himself as an interior run defender and he is decent in pushing the pocket.
Tremaine Edmunds picked up a QB Tackle in the 3rd but was quiet on the int sheet this game.
Jerry Hughes notched his second QB tackle of the contest to help the Bills defense solidify the win. The team is back at practice today in preparation for the Texans.
