As we finish season 2 and start the playoffs, we’re gonna take a look back at who improved, who got worse, and who stayed the same. A lot of teams had similar seasons to last year but we’re gonna look at who had the biggest turnarounds.

Biggest Improvements
AFC - Ravens
Goins went from a horrid 1-15 season in 2018 leading the league in sacks taken to an impressive 8-8 2019 season, only one game out of a playoff spot. Lamar Jackson’s improvement in play seems to be the reason for the big jump, that and the defense. Jackson took 43 less sacks and threw 14 less interceptions and 15 more touchdowns.
NFC - Cardinals
Lance came off a disappointing 7-9 season and turned it around making a playoff run in a hot 12-4 season. The emergence of Martavis Bryant in the Cardinals offense along star back David Johnson who almost led the league in all purpose yards helped turn this Arizona team into a contender this year.
Biggest Disappointments
AFC - Raiders
Kale went from a great 10-6 playoff season while tying for 1st in the AFC West to a 5-11 2019 and also took last in the division. This was a disappointed considering the raiders were an underdog in the West that I thought could pull out first place this year.
NFC - Seahawks
The only reason the seahawks take the NFCs biggest disappointment season over the panthers is because of the owner change from the previous year, Castro took over the Panthers this 2019b season as a first year player expectations were not big. Matt has always been a contender in the West in previous years and I was expecting a turnaround from last years 6-10 playoff miss. Hopefully the Seahawks can find their way come 2020.
