SFL Hard Knocks S1 E1

            This will be a new article that I’m hoping to continue every offseason. This will be an SFL Hard Knocks Episode that could have as many as four episodes an offseason. The team will be randomly selected each offseason. This season’s team is Turk’s Denver Broncos. So ,without further delay, let’s kick off Hard Knocks SFL style.

            To really show off Turk’s Broncos and what their future holds, we have to look back at last season and how good his defense was. Turk only won six games last season, but with his defense, he could have won a lot more. Players like Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, and Brandon Marshall, all having Pro-Bowl seasons, and a young core of players make up an auto-pilot defense. This defense in future seasons with development has a chance to grow into not only an AFC West champion but also a Super Bowl champion.

            Turk's offense was a struggle for Denver. Turnovers, run game, and passing game all struggled last season. If Turk wants to be successful, his sole focus should be looking to help this offense out. If he has any future, he needs to be able to put up points. Catching up with Turk, he made it very clear that there is a plan in place, whether it be Free Agency or draft, his offense will find help this offseason. This team is in desperate need of a franchise Quarterback to lead this team and to help them have an offensive identity.

            Turk and Von Miller took our crew back to Dallas, Texas, their hometown, to give us a tour of their past and their lives now. Texas has always grown great football players. Von and Turk talked a lot about their home state, Von spoke about his days at Texas A&M, but most importantly, they both spoke on bringing another Super Bowl to Denver.

            With Free Agency only a week away and the draft soon after, Denver looks to make a big splash and secure their future and bring a championship home to Denver.

            On the next episode of SFL Hard Knocks, Free Agency kicks off and the hunt for a future Quarterback begins. Turk prepares for the draft and starts to fill his draft board. The future of Denver starts now.
