As the season winds down some teams are looking to make that playoff push, while others are entering draft mode a bit earlier than most.
The draft is one of the most exciting periods of the SFL season, one where the bottom dwellers can make a name for themselves with a few solid picks, or dynastys can be formed or reloaded.
Each season I like to take a look at each team, attempt to put myself in their shoes and make a decision that could change the course of their franchises.
Here are the first 16 picks:
In an effort to solidify their offensive lines, a lot of these top selections will cater to those who battle in the trenches. A fair amount of these teams have solid offenses in place, but could use one more key piece on the protection side of things to put them over the top.
Favourite selection: C - Logan Swift
In the bottom half of this draft we'll find teams looking for more traditional positions, more so on the defensive side of the ball. While there is still some solid value in the trenches here, a lot of of it will be absorbed over the course of the first 16 picks.
Favourite Pick: WR - Lindsey Hudson
