Thundering Herd Week 11 Edition

The Buffalo Bills finally got back in the win column after a well-needed bye week.  The team piled up the QB Tackles and the INT's on the way to victory over a tough Jacksonville Jaguars defense.  The offense was pretty conservative this week due to not having the talent to attack the secondary of the Jaguars, thus it was pretty much a Shady McCoy day on offense and he delivered 121 rushing yards and 3 TD's.

With McCoy delivering on the ground, the defense delivered in getting to the QB and picking off the QB.  Back up DE Eddie Yarborough grabbed his 5th QB tackle on the season.  The coaching staff has been impressed with Yarborough as a sub package player and look forward to his on-going development.

Jerry Hughes picked up his 11th QB tackle of the season.  He also played well against the run as the defense as a whole limited Leonard Fournette to 1.9 per yards carry.

Shaq Lawson is making the most of his opportunity spelling an injured Trent Murphy.  Lawson picked up his 2nd QB tackle of the season and will get more reps in this latter part of the season.

Rookie MLB Tremaine Edmunds continues a strong rookie campaign.  He leads the team with 6 INT's.  This game however, his role switched up and he showed the coaches that he can get to the QB.

The coaches trusted him so they sent him twice and both times he got to Bortles

Bills Defense Through the Air

The secondary had Bortles and Chark on lock most of the game.  Five players picked off Bortles.  Micah Hyde picked up his fifth Interception of the season, early in the 1st half.

On an amazing interception to end the half, Tre'Davious White took potential points off the board for the Jags as he stole this Borltes pass.

Old man Alexander roamed the middle all game and finally picked Bortles off late in the 3rd qtr for his first interception of the season.

Finally, the quitter of quitters accumulated two interceptions this game.  He was also the one that gave up the final pass to DJ Chark.  On a pass that should have been picked Davis just got into some funky ass animation and allowed Chark to catch the pass and then Chark turned into Hulk Hogan for the score.
