After taking a quick break and a trip to see the Carolina Panthers tie records (we're talking real life, sorry Rob) Crim's Corner is finally back for week 10!
The last few weeks have been interesting nonetheless, we're getting a better picture of who's real, who's a fluke and looking in on some of the better divisional battles, such as the AFC East.
I won't make you wait any longer, here's my picks for the week:
Game Of The Week Record: 1-4
This is one of the match ups I've been waiting for all year, two titans of the SFL going head-to-head in some very meaningful action. Both B and Q are household names throughout the league, and both are coming off of some very surprising losses.
I expect offense to be a massive focal point when these two kick off, not that they don't posess defensive units that can make some noise, but the fact that these two are top dawgs when it comes to scoring.
While both these teams may be on tilt to a degree, I think Q and his Falcons pull themselves up from being knocked down last week.
Lock Record: 5-0
Another very big match up here in week 10 involves two teams looking to make a move within the AFC East. With the Patriots at 5-4, we have both Steps and LB sitting at 4-5 with the division in their sights.
I don't expect there to be a lot of points scored in this one, at least on the offensive side of things, because these two rely on their defenses and it has been paying off.
It will come down to who can generate the most offense, which may me a tall task to complete, but I believe Buffalo's rookie (Allen) will have the edge on Darnold and the Jets this week.
Upset Record: 2-3
Codie and his Chiefs have honestly surprised me to this point. I know he can get off to hot starts here and there, but I feel like this isn't one of those times where he drops the ball.
However, I do think that the Arizona Cardinals and Ark have the talent to cause this team some problems. Sitting at 3-5 they don't look like much to worry about, but he's been in most of his games and been given a chance to win week in and week out.
It'll be tough to slow this team down, but with Tyreek Hill going up against a shut down corner like Patrick Peterson, he's going to have his hands full this week.
