Thanks for taking the time to read this article. This is one of the articles in which I collected data from the league in regards to presenting thr winners for these categories.
I initially polled the owners of the SFL when I first had the thought of the SFL Honors show. I decided to ask about eight different categories in which we would touch upon in regards of celebrating our newer owners as well as some veterans. So, at this time I have decided to reveal the winners.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Demeann (2018 Jets)
In a pretty close race, Demeann was able to get a few votes late when he was stuck in a tie with another newcomer (II), Justin who piloted the Bengals to success.
Deme was able to get a hold of the Jets and turn them into a perennial playoff team and did a lot of damage for the duration of the cycle.
SFL FED EX AIR PLAYER: Q (2018 Falcons)
The difference in votes here was literally one vote. Second place belonged to Austin who was New England last year. The Falcons on the other hand maintained a
"business as usual" attitude as Ryan and company put up a lot of yards and TDs, minus all the ridiculous amounts of INTs.
SFL FED EX GROUND PLAYER: Codie (2018 Titans)
Derrick Henry was a trucking machine and a nightmare to defend last Madden. He routinely gashed defenses and it showed itself during the voting process.
The people have voted for Codie, and honestly, it wasn't even close.
SFL DEFENSIVE OWNER of the YEAR: TIE (LB- BILLS & POPS-BROWNS)
We actually have our first tie of this particular awards ceremony. The league was split down the middle in regards of who deserved this honor the most.
LB and Pops took defenses that probably had no business even being considered as a great defense and took them to war, stifling their opposition
in the process.
SFL OFFENSIVE OWNER of the YEAR: Q (2018 FALCONS)
Won't go into too much detail in regards to this. Atlanta won this honor, for constantly putting out an offense that moved and scored a lot.
SFL CLUTCH OWNER of the YEAR: Chan (2018 Texans)
This was another formidable year for Chan. He won another title. Won close games he probably had no business winning and made it seem easy in retrospect.
Second place belonged to Bryce because of the Immaculate Deflection/Reception in the NFC Title Game.
COACH of the YEAR: Loaded Lux (Falcons)
The Falcons went to 3 Superbowls, winning 2.
MVP of the CYCLE: (Same as the Coach of the Year)
