It was a shaky start for the Redskins in week 2. Evan Engram scored on the Giants first offensive snap, and things didn't get much better from there. The Redskins were down 16-0 before they realized they were playing a football game. Samje Perine carried the load on offense, running for over 160 yards on the ground and 2 scores. Kicker Dan Baily had perhaps the worst game of his career. He missed 3 extra points along with a crucial FG before the half. The Redskins defense stepped up big time by picking off Davis Webb 5 times and returning 2 of them for a TD. The most critical drive of the game game with just over a minute left. The score was 29-29 and rookie quarterback Tux Dupre had the ball in his hands with a chance to win the game. Dupre was unfazed by the pressure as he connected with his wide receiver Jeanty for the game winning touchdown with 20 left. The Redskins have a tough test next week with the San Francisco 49ers. Head Coach Ed Hernandez is very familiar with the 9ers from his time in Arizona. We'll see if the Skins can make it to a perfect 3-0 start...
