The Bills got the proverbial monkey off their backs (pause) as they went into NE and got a W. The team has been working on attitude out of the gate this year and will do a lot of personality work this season to help their cause in being division contenders again.
Defensively it wasn't a pretty game on the QB tackle sheet. However, the INT sheet looked good.
On the first drive of the game, second-year Middle Linebacker Solomon Dundee grabbed his first interception on the season setting up the offense to break the tie and go up 3-0.
Rookie OLB Biscuit Bennett grabbed his third QB tackle of the season on a play deep in Patriots territory. We almost had the Safety here.
Safety Micah Hyde was the defensive player of the game. As shown here he grabbed his first interception in this game and on the season.
Later, in a tightly contested battle, Hyde snagged another INT setting up the Bills offense to take the lead for good.
Hyde's eventual replacement after this season, Isiac McDougal, knocks down a pass at the end to seal the game for the Bills.
The Bills get the W and get back to work as they have another tough division game against the NY Jets who have destroyed their first two opponents.
