Dupre and Perine lead the way to Redskins first victory

Rookie quarterback Tux Dupre was unfazed by the hype surrounding his very first SFL start on the road in New Orleans. Dupre was the 1st overall pick in the draft, and he has had major expectations for success ever since. Dupre's very first pass attempt showed he was not afraid to take chances, as he connected with wide reciever Josh Doctson for a 40 year completion. The real star of the day for Washington was running back Samaje Perine. Perine made Dupre's debut easy as he gapped the Saints run defense for over 120 yards and two scores. Perine could have had three touchdown runs if it wasn't for a fumble that was eventually scooped up by right tackle Morgan Moses for a score. Head Coach Ed Hernandez has the Redskins trending in the right direction. Keep an eye on this team going forward.
