The Bills open up with a tough three division game schedule. The team is taking it with a 1 game at a time approach and after game one the team is quite disappointed defensively.
We made a lot of mistakes defensively. Lots of rust.
While the team made quite a few mistakes that did turn it on with some turnovers and QB tackles.
It started with some great play from FA pick up DT Pearson Gesser. The FA acquisition actually got to the QB twice in this game.
Tre'Davious White got on the defensive statistics board with an interception. He's in a contract year so it'll be interesting to see if he can finally get more INT's. He normally has a high pass deflection record, but not interceptions.
Like Gesser, rookie OLB Biscuit Bennett got to the QB twice this game.
Matthew Ambrose is seen here getting to Mayfield. Ambrose dominated Tunsil the entire game; flushing Mayfield left or up the middle to Gesser.
Here Ambrose is shown getting to the QB again along with Bennett.
Finally, UDFA from a year ago Easton Price got to Mayfield off of a quick engage.
The team finished with 7 QB tackles but was sorely disappointed in their best defensive lineman Ikeem Ives. He's their best player up front and he did absolutely NOTHING.
