Ed Hernandez was shockingly fired from the Arizona Cardinals midway through last season. He had his team in position for another playoff run when he was suddenly banished from the SFL after being accused of deflating footballs, much like the Patriots in 2014. He fought and pled his case relentlessly in court to commissioner Q until he was finally proven not guilty by the jury of admins. Hernandez was then reinstated into the league, but the Cardinals did not want him or his drama back with their association. That's when the Washington Redskins gave Coach Hernandez a call. They flew him out to D.C. to conduct an interview about a possible head coaching job. Despite the Redskins being the worst team in all of football last season, Hernandez accepted the Redskins offer because of the young talent he saw with their roster. Hernandez is no stranger to quick turn arounds, and he vows to have the Skins in the playoff hunt this season. It will be interesting to see what the Redkins do this off season, starting with free agency the #1 pick in the upcoming draft.
