Vikings Season 3 Review

     Season 3 has ended for the Minnesota Vikings as they finish 9-7. They had their ups and they had their downs this season. Julian and the Lions swept Coach Millers Vikings this season though they both finished 9-7, The new King of the North Lions owned the tie breaker. Coach Miller said "I'm proud as hell of these men and rheir effort this year, next year we will see improvement."

     The offense for the Vikings was mediocre this season in my opinion. If the running game wasn't there then Jared Goff was virtually nothing. He struggled to not turn the ball over all season long whether it was throwing interceptions or just constantly fumbling the football. A surprise from this season was David Sills V, he was a 2nd round pick, but was expected to be the 3rd option. He eventually passed Adam Theilen for the 2nd reciever spot and shinned. Sill V led the team in catches and receiving yards.

     A big surprise of the Vikings season was their below average defense. They still had the pieces, but the execution just wasn't quite there this year. The defensive line struggled tremendously to stop the run. Trading for Vontae Davis did not help the secondary like Coach Miller thought it would either. Miller is hoping to improve the defensive line as well as secondary as rhey are an aging group.

     Minnesota will be looking for a new training staff as they had the injury big all season to major players such as Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook, Xavier Rhodes, Adam Theilen, and Linval Joseph just to namew a few. One key to next season for this team will be staying healhy. The organization is looking intpo new training methods as well this offseason.

     To recap the season the run game was spectacular, the pass game wasn't so great. The Defense is getting old and needs improved in a few areas. Injuries derailed this team early on and often. The Vikings are looking forward to this years draft to find new young talent in this class to add to their roster. We will see what they draw up, and if they can come back stronger than ever next season. #SKOL
