The Arizona Cardinals have been hot out of the gate. In week 3 the Cleveland Browns traveled to the desert for a prime time showdown with the Cards. 2nd year QB Devrin Gholston was suspended for the game due to his use of PEDs. The Cards picked up QB Trevone Boykin off the streets and threw him into action. He had no problem fitting into the Arizona offense as he threw for 370 yards and 2 TDs. Even 3rd string QB Hudson Fusco had success as he came in for one play and threw a 77 yard TD to Michael Thomas. Speaking of Michael Thomas, he had himself a day as well catching 6 balls for 305 yards and 3 TDs. Down the stretch of the game, the Cardinals defense came through and forced QB DeShone Kizer to throw 5 interceptions. The Cardinals weren't very favored heading into this matchup with the Browns, but they believe that this victory opened some eyes around the league. They will head to New Orleans next week for a matchup with a tough New Orleans Saints team.
