This has turned out to be a huge draft for the Colts. The goal was to get a starter caliber WR to help lesson the load on TY and Moncrief, and that was accomplished with the #18 pick in the draft. Defense was another area of concern, the previous free agent season was spent on nothing but defense, and to help fill the void with younger talent, the draft was aimed in that direction.

Second Round, pick 50: RE, 23 years old, Pierce Larrimore - 74 overall Grade: B
Third Round, pick 82: ROLB, 22 years old, Luis Wrotto - 73 overall Grade: B-
Fourth Round, pick 114: DT, 21 years old, Ellis Lamb - 72 overall Grade: C+
Fifth Round, pick 146: LE, 21 years old, Malcome Tanico - 72 overall Grade: B-
Sixth Round, pick 178: WR, 22 years old, Christian McPhearson - 76 overall Grade: A+
Seventh Round, pick 210: LT, 22 years old, Zachery Ridgeway - 73 overall Grade: A
This was a huge draft for the Colts, they got pieces to their huge puzzle, and are slowly filling the gaps necessary to contend with the big time players. If they draft like this again next year, the sky is the limit.
