After going 8-8 and missing out the playoffs just a year ago, the Bengals took a step in the right direction in the 2018 season. The team went 10-6, earned 1st place in the AFC North, and came out with the teams first playoff win in years. Not to mention the Bengals were only a yard away from going to the AFC championship. One of the biggest discoveries of 2018 is the late emergence of 2nd year back Joe Mixon, he went on a 2nd half season spree of 100+ yard games and finished with 1,030 yards and 11 TDS in 13 games. Another great aspect of 2018 was defensive rookie of the year MLB Antwon Bellanca, the rookie had a monster season finishing with 90 tackles, 24 TFL, 2 sacks, and 11 interceptions. One improvement that got done was the o line. Last year Andy Dalton took 89 sacks, this year the number improved to 67. There’s much to look forward to in the 2019 season and the Bengals will be a dangerous team.
