It was a game that was won in the trenches. The Bills defense held Titans HB Derrick Henry down for the majority of the game. Henry finished 15/52 and 1 TD. He had 3 Broken Tackles. It was certainly a focus going into the game. A player with Henry's stats and highlight reel definitely draws defensive coordinator's attention and the Bills defensive front played admirably. The pass defense also continued to bring in turnovers.
On the Titans first drive Matt Milano flashed between two Titans WR's and grabbed his second INT of the season setting up the offense in Titans territory. The offense was stalled and held to a FG.
On the Titans second drive, Milano stripped a scrambling Mariota of the football setting up the 'Bills offense again.
On the Titans third drive Ben Heeney scooped up a fumble.
And ran down the sideline for a score.
Later Milano recovered a fumble on a failed lateral attempt by Titans WR Rishard Matthews.
Early in the 2nd half FS Jordan Poyer snagged his 6th INT of the season tying him with teammate Micah Hyde.
Tre'Davious White grabbed his 2nd INT of the season to keep the shutout in view.
Finally, late in the game DE Shaq Lawson notched his 9th QB tackle of the season to take back the team's QB tackle lead by a 1/2 over rookie Ambrose.
The Bills are back at practice as they prepare for a tough game vs the Texans.
