The 4-2 Bills faced off against the 6-0 Jets in a pivotal division game. The team came into this game remembering the season opener in New Jersey. It was a game the Bills felt slip away from them due to a nasty Jets defensive front and aggressive Blitzing scheme. This game the team did a bit more max protection on offense and schemed to take away the Jets Shot plays. The team finished with 4 QB Tackles, 4 INT's, a Safety. The defense as a whole has scored 40 points on the season and would like to double that by seasons' end. Right now the Bills defense leads the league in scoring.
Shaq Lawson continues to have a great season as he registered his 5th QB tackle on the season.
Lawson leads the team with 5.5.
2nd year Outside Linebacker Matt Miliano had a great game. Here we see the 2nd year standout dropping Bridgewater for his first QB tackle of the game.
Late in the game, Miliano would drop Bridgewater for another QB tackle resulting in a Safety to move the Bills up by 13 and put the game out of reach.
The Bills front was complimented by good secondary play. Micah Hyde is having a Pro Bowl season grabbing his 5th interception.
Jordan Poyer snagged an interception in the endzone setting the Jets back a drive.
Free Agent pick-up Quinton Dunbar picked Bridgewater off early in the game and scored.
Later Dunbar would drop Bridgewater for his first QB tackle on the season. On this on the defensive coordinator had to send a shoutout to Steps (It's back!!).
The Bills will spend the week prepping for the Dolphins who have a stellar rookie QB.
