The LA Chargers wrapped up Week 7 with a 44-22 win over divsion rival KC. The win pushed the Chargers to 5-2, with a bye in week 8, this is a perfect oppurtunity to revist the first half of the SFL season for LAC.

Week 3 - Chargers 24 - Browns 38
Week 4 - Chargers 35- Chiefs 33

Offense
-- Chargers are currently ranked 12th in points with 31ppg.
-- 1st in total yards with 453.1ypgs
-- 2nd in passing yards with 333ypg
-- 3rd in rushing yards with 120.1 ypg
Offense has been led on the groud from star HB Melvin Gordon with 671 yards and 11 TDs.
Philip Rivers has thrown for 2176 and 10 TDs in 7 games.
Allen, M. Williams, T. Williams, and Henry all lead a balanced receving offense. 23-26 catches between these guys.
The young OL has taken some licks early on giving up 22 sacks in 7 games but we knew they would struggle early on.
"For us to be 5-2 at the midway point of the season is good. We were really worried about our OL, starting 3 rookies, and 1 2nd year player. They have done enough and they will be solid in the 2H of the season for us. Turnovers have killed us in our 2 losses. Fumbles, fumbles, and more fumbles in the redzone. We have to do a better job protecting the football, said Coach Gambler."
Defense
16th in PPG allowing 28
28th in YPG allowed with 388.1
27th in PYG allowed with 292.3
23rd in RYG allowed with 95.9
--Attachou leds with 29 tackles
--Hayward has 2 Ints
--Bosa has 7 Sacks
A really disappointing season defensively for the Chargers. A unit that ranked in top 5 in all categories last year has struggled to find its flow. "We are going to have to make some changes going forward and get this defense back to what it should be, said Gambler. This unit has a lot of pride and this bye week will be a great time to reinvent their great play."
One major problem that has hurt the Charger defense has been the injury to Melvin Ingram who was hurt in Week 2. Ingram played 2 games and made 7 tackles and 4 sacks. When he returns the "Goon Squad" should be in full effect again.
A tough remaining schedule features:
Raiders(13th) and Broncos(17th) x2 each
Texans (4th)
NFC West teams - Arizona(25th), LA Rams(2nd), and Seattle (5th)
Luckily we were able to get 2 gimmie wins from the shit bags over in KC. Suck ass AC.
