Captain Lurk - LORAX

Two weeks in a row Lorenzo Alexander has been involved in an interception return.  Let's break down this week, lurk and here from Alexander himself on the play.

Alexander:  Like last week it's about recognition and film study.  They lined up in the monster and it's a pretty danger formation to deal with, especially early on in the season.  I'm surprised more teams are not running it.  Our offense practiced it but decided to scrap it.  Our defense has a plan against this.  Notice they have Quads to our left.  But unlike a lot of teams, we don't spread out with this set because the run from it is that dangerous, so we stay with at least 6 in the box against it. 

Alexander:  Then from there it is just a matter of playing inside/out.

Alexander: I was fortunate to be put in a great situation to make a play.

Alexander:  I'm 34 years old so this is probably my last season.  I'm just out here enjoying football and having fun man.

With the Patriots looming will Lorax be involved with another pick 6?

Alexander:  Who knows?  I know they are a team that loves table routes and HB screens so we'll see.
