The Buffalo Bills have been a roller coaster this season. Some games they show up and play and other games, particularly the first five games were plagued by turnovers and adjustments that did not fit this football team. In a battle against the Kansas City Chiefs the Bills defense stole the show as the offense turned the football over in the redzone twice. The festivities started in the first half with Micah Hyde picking off OROY candidate Patrick Mahomes as he was looking for Hill for the bomb over the top.
From there it was the defense living in the Chiefs backfield. Fat boy Dareus was the first to eat
The Chiefs would drive but the unfortunate happened on a play where their rookie All Star QB was just trying to throw the football away he was hit on what probably should have been a real roughing the passer, and is now sidelined for five weeks.
Alex Smith would have to take his place and Smith was dropped to the turf five times.
Ramon Humber would continue his stellar season of getting to the QB racking up his 9th QB Tackle.
Another relatively unknown player having a good season for the Bills in their subpackages is Ben Heeney. The UK (not Kentucky but Kansas) alum has 2 INT's and 1 QB Tackle on the season.
Jerry Hughes continues to terrorize QB's as he added to his Tackle total giving him 13.5.
Another Free Agent Acquisition who plays in specific packages for the Bills is Jelani Jenkins. Jenkins added to his resume by bringing Alex Smith down today as the Bills employed some cover 0, which is a surprise for them.
To close the game out FS Jordan Poyer sat underneath Smith's pass to Hill to bring in his 5th interception. Poyer and Hyde lead the Bills in interceptions, both with 5.
