The Arizona Cardinals come into week 9 with a pedestrian record of 4-4. After an embarrassing loss the Cowboys in week 3 the Cards went on to lose 4 in a row including losses to the 49ers, Eagles & Bucs. They finally broke their losing streak with a close win over the rams courtesy of a 80 yard strike from Palmer to John Brown. The Cardinals most recently beat the 49ers in a sim win, however looking into their 3rd straight divisional game the Cardinals with be facing the 5-3 Seahawks who have lost 3 straight. With the biggest game of the season the Cardinals will be expecting big games from their QB Carson Palmer who hasn't been very good this season & their superstar cornerback Patrick Peterson who is yet to get an interception this season. David Johnson who has also had a slow first half, will hope to turn around his season quickly, however it won't be easy versus that dangerous Seattle defense. Averaging under 75 yards per game Cardinals fans, along with fantasy owner are getting impatient with the 3rd year running back.
With th a tough slate of games in the coming weeks Arizona will have to play their best football if they want to stay in the playoff race which is looking more & more like a race to the top of the NFC west. With Los Angeles & San Francisco sitting at 2-6 Arizona looks like the only team that will have a chance to dethrone Seattle.
