The Seahawks traded punches with the Titans on a rainy Sunday in Nashville, ultimately winning by a score of 30-22. The weather appeared to be a factor in a game that featured 6 interceptions and several missed field goals. Coming off an excellent game against San Francisco, Russell Wilson missed on a number of throws, but still managed to complete 20 of 28 passes for 277 yards. Eddie Lacy provided some tough yards on the ground, finishing with 18 carries for 65 yards and a score. Wilson again spread the ball around, completing multiple passes to 6 different receivers (7 total). 

 

The Seahawks had trouble defending the Titans run game, as Derrick Henry finished with 13 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown. The Seattle secondary again provided most of the punch for their defense, as they forced Titans QB Marcus Mariota into 3 interceptions, including a pick-6 by cornerback Deshawn Shead. The famed Legion of Boom now has 10 total interceptions in their first 3 games. "I've been very pleased with the overall defensive effort thus far" said head coach Shawn Springs. "The pass rush is getting home and we've made a number of big plays. I hope we can keep it rolling."

 

Seattle (3-0) returns home to face off against the Colts team on Sunday Night Football. The Titans (1-2) travel to Houston for a tough divisional matchup on the road.
