Atlanta after two games look about as balanced as they have in a very long time. There are a lot of things to be excited about. The offensive line, despite starting a rookie guard have been doing pretty well. Matt Ryan has been kept upright. He's been doing what the MVP does, distributing to every eligible receiver on the roster. No one has more than one receiving touchdown. The ground attack has been revitalized by Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Freeman's averaging a ludicrous eight yards per carry. Before getting hurt against the Packers, he had just gashed them for a 70-yard TD run (his second in as many weeks). As far as the passing attack is concerned, it's been diverse. You would think that after a couple games that Julio Jones would be destroying the stat sheet but it's quite the opposite. He has three catches in 2 games. To be Honest, he left the second game in the first quarter and didn't register a single reception in that game. Neither did Hooper. Sanu and Gabriel did most of the heavy lifting with Jones leaving the game with a shoulder issue. Heading into week 3, the Falcons look to take on the Lions who are 0-2 but have made headlines by saying that they are making a statement by defeating Atlanta. Only time will tell.
