Cardinals down Lions

The Arizona Cardinals kicked off the SFL season on the road against the Detroit Lions. Their pre season addition of Darrelle Revis made his presence known in the first quarter with a pick six which fueled the Cardinals to a 45-24 win. With exactly 500 yards of offense they showed flashes of how good they can be, however Carson Palmer matched his 3 thouchdown passes with 3 interceptions. If they want to get over their divisional round nightmares of last cycle he must reduce the turnovers. On the defensive side of the ball rookie linebacker Haason Reddick impressed in his debut with 4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble & 1 interception which all but sealed the win for Arizona.  The Cardinals defense is known for carrying the team & they did just that with forcing 4 turnovers & holding the Lions to only 7 second half points. Looking forward the Cardinals matchup against another new owner for the Indianapolis Colts, who lost a close defensive battle to the LA Rams.
