When Loaded Lux was drafted, he knew he had some big shoes to fill. Atlanta had just missed the playoffs for the first time ever with Truth running the team and the spotlight was clearly on him. Lux worked night and day to improve his game and in his second season he's looking like the early favorite to win MVP even though it's only the first quarter of the season. Lux is leading the lead in yards and touchdowns despite not nearly throwing as much as an Andy Dalton. Lux is afforded that luxury because Coleman is also leading the league in rushing touchdowns. As far as front office moves go, the Falcons parted ways with veteran and elite shutdown corner Desmond Trufant (Something nobody saw happening) and ended up getting Dante Fowler Jr to pair with Vic Beasley to solidfy a pass rush Atlanta hasn't had, EVER. But that's one side of the ball (II). On the other side, through drafting, Atlanta is going to be scary over the next couple seasons.

But back to the new Atlanta Falcons offense. Shanahan was fired (peace out) and a new offensive coordinator has been running the show. Coach Tsu Surf alerted Devonta Freeman that he is now the backup to Coleman after it being the opposite way for the last 3 seasons. Julio Jones, while diminishing, is still on the team and is still a valuable contributor. Atlanta has youth on both sides of the football and this is the reason that there averaging a league best 46 PPG. The offense has seen stretches where it seems as though they just can't be stopped at times. There's a rookie receiver who is 6'6" who is looking like the early ROTY. Tunsil was just locked up. The NFC's best LB, Deion Jones (who is injured) literally just signed a 7-year contract extension last night. This team is young and it isn't going away anytime soon.

The leading receiver is a guy named Eric "Smack White" Beasley. He has roughly 800 yards in just four games. Atlanta already has 3 division wins after just four weeks of play. Keanu Neal is the next player reportedly to get locked up to an extension and that should be sometime soon. The average age on the team is about 25. They're currently enjoying their bye week, but will soon play Bando's Jaguars and Philadelphia. These Falcons are young and hungry. By the end of the year, there's really no telling what they'll be able to accomplish. They're ready to hit, ready to hunt, ready to hurt. It's the revival of #DBlock
