The Carolina Panthers followed up a very lacklustre 2018 campaign with a 2019 season to remember. Finishing the year with 11 wins, the team knew they had more work to do as they headed into their first post season appearance in quite a while.
Carolina was able to defeat their widlcard match up in the Detroit Lions and secured themselves a matchup in Dallas to take on the Cowboys. The Panthers shocked not only the Cowboys, but the league as a whole with yet another victory on the road.
Riding high, the team then was tested once again, as they travelled to Atlanta to take on a familar foe in the Falcons. Q and his Falcons had suffered a loss to the Panthers in week 17 that allowed them to break into the post season, but this time was different. With the Falcons trying to bounce back after their SuperBowl loss to the Houston Texans last season they wouldn't be an easy task.
Coach Charles and company fell apart on both sides of the ball and they were run out of the building as Atlanta returned to claim what is rightfully theirs. Expectations were low for this team going into 2019, but after an impressive playoff run they will rise in 2020, and Carolina will have to sure up some of their weaknesses this off season to make sure they're back in contention.
